INFO:
I hope to never stop trying new things. I don’t really have a bucket list, so all the new experiences I’ve had in the past month or two, at 60, even surprised me! @phildiederich and I are taking sketch-writing classes with @americasbestsd at @fstimprov, and we’re having a blast. Just a year ago, I wasn’t sure I was ready to try this. I had adapted US sitcoms to Spanish in my 20s and 30s, but writing my own skits? I didn’t think I’d dare! But here we are. Training for pull-ups - @ginnymaccol inspired me to start, and although progress is slow, @susanbishopyoga is helping me stay accountable. After achieving a handstand in my 50s, I wanted a new physical goal. Diving in a shipwreck - this was a pleasant surprise during our voyage with @virginvoyages. I booked the excursion, and it was magical. Check out my reel about it a few posts back. Swimming with sharks! Say what? It was definitely not on my bucket list to jump into the water with 20+ sharks, but I did it, and there’s a reel coming soon. I also have a highlight about the experience. I’m so glad I did it. u2028I’d never been to the Bahamas and was blown away by the blue waters, which reminded me of Turks and Caicos, where I attended a social media conference years ago. It was fabulous. And yes, @phildiederich and I launched @unlikelydetours, where we share our past travel content and create new content together. Follow us if you’re interested in our empty nester travels. Thank you to @clarasunwoo for always having my back with beautiful clothes (this is their signature dress - use code LCL for a discount or enjoy their current offer). I bought these great @INEZ shoes for a wedding, and they are crazy comfortable - you can use code Lorraine15 for a discount too. What new thing have you done lately that surprised even you?
